Noughtilus is online and forecasts and measures the environmental impact of marketing campaigns, enabling;

Noughtilus is based upon WRI/WBCSD rules/ standards, the same rules and standards underpinning other initiatives in the market such as CDP and the Carbon Trust approach to footprinting. Noughtlius is unique in that it specifically analysis the carbon footprint of the marketing supply chain to empower marketers with knowledge and understanding to manage their carbon impact.

Forecasting, analysing

Noughtilus can be used as both a forecasting tool and an analytical tool. At its present phase one stage Noughtilus will calculate the carbon dioxide equivalent (kg) from your marketing activities. This is currently being extended to include water consumed (kl), e-waste generated (kg) and land disturbance with additional impact factors planned to provide a complete impact assessment.

Noughtilus is an exciting and dynamic tool that will be continually updated as science and data availability evolves and also as clients needs change and evolve. Different to existing carbon calculators, Noughtilus is a marketing specific tool that is comprehensive in scope and considers the impacts of all domains of the marketing and communications industry. Once all campaign details are entered the environmental assessment is immediate, providing an accurate audit without the time constraints and costs of using environmental impact consultants.

As a forecasting tool, Noughtilus allows the user to compare the environmental impacts of different marketing campaigns and assist in making a sustainable campaign choice. As an analytical tool, users can perform an environmental audit of an existing marketing campaign such as a corporate event, a conference, or a cinema or press campaign.
